Bottles
You can recognize the basic types
of wine by the shape and color
of the bottle.
Bordeaux
comes in bottles with
rounded shoulders.
Burgundy
comes in bottle with
sloping shoulders.
Rhine
comes it tall,
slim, brown bottles.
Moselle
comes in tall,
slim, green bottles.

There are 3 standard sizes
for all wine bottles:
half bottles, bottles,
and magnums (two bottles).


Champagne
comes in bottles which get bigger and bigger,
and with more and more fantastic names.

Rehoboam = 6 bottles
Methusselah = 8 bottles
Salmanzar = 12 bottles
