Sugar Cookies

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer
until light and fluffy. Beat
in the eggs, then the vanilla. On
low speed, gradually beat in the flour mixture. 3.
Divide the dough into thirds, shape each piece into a disk, and
wrap in plastic. Refrigerate
for at least 2 hours, or overnight. 4.
Preheat the over to 350 degree 5.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough 1/8 inch thick.
Cut out Christmas shapes with cookie cutters and place 2 inches
apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Decorate with colored sugar and sprinkles. |
