Ways to Serve Peanut Butter
1.
Use as a dip.
2. Stuff in celery
stalks and top with raisins.
3. Stuff inside a
pita pocket.
4. Use as
"glue" to attach other food items to make faces, bugs, etc.
5. Spread on top of
raw potatoe slices.
6. Spread on a
lettuce leave. Place a celery stick or carrot stick
in
the middle then roll it up.
7. Use as bait to
catch a fish snack. Let your child dip a pretzel
stick in peanut butter and then "catch" goldfish crackers by
sticking them to the peanut butter.
8. Sandwich with
jelly between graham crackers.
9. Make a peanut
butter spread by mixing peanut butter with
mashed bananas. Add raisins if you want.
10. Make peanut butter
balls. Combine 1 1/4 cups confectioners'
sugar, 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup powdered milk and 1 cup honey
(for children older than 1 year). Let the children roll the dough
1-inch balls. Set on wax paper and refrigerate until firm.
Makes about 30 balls. |

Ways to Serve Cottage Cheese
1. Stir
in crushed pineapple, applesauce or frozen berries into
cottage cheese. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve warm or cold.
2. Layer with,
fruit and crushed graham crackers in parfait glasses.
3. Stuff inside a
hollowed cucumber.
4. Spread on top of
raisin bread.
5. Add a little food
coloring for a fun surprise.
6. Use as a dip for
fruit and vegetables..
7. Use to fill a
pear half. Add raisins on top or sprinkle a
little cinnamon.
8. Make a daisy
salad. Spoon cottage cheese in the center of a
plate. Arrange mandarin orange sections.
9. Mix with
scrambled eggs, shredded cheese and minced vegetables.
10. Stuff inside a snow
