Mint (Mentha Viridis)

Mint This plant grows to a height of 12 inches with purple flowers. Mint is very easy to grow especially if given moist soil and part shade. It is best grown in a container as it spreads very rapidly. This way it can be kept under better control. Mint is very popular as a tea, and the leaves can be used fresh or dry. It may be used for mint sauce, in salads, drinks, sprinkled on fresh fruits, and mixed with other herbs such as Lemon Balm or Alfalfa for a delicious, refreshing tea.
