Marjoram is actually a perennial, but should be treated as an annual and planted fresh each year. It is propagated from seed very easily, and grows to a height of 10 to 12 inches with white flowers. It thrives best in soil that is dry and in full sun. Marjoram leaves are used in salad dressings, salads, vinegars, soups, cooked vegetables, and in meats. |
