Anise (Pimpinella Anisum)

Anise is an annual herb, which means it should be planted each year, and is propagated from seeds. The growing height ranges from 1½ to 2 feet, and it looks very similar to Dill. Plant in full sun with fairly dry soil. The seeds are most commonly used in teas, and baking cookies and cakes. The leaves are often used in salads.
