1    10 to 11 pound fully cooked.bone-in-ham
1    cup honey
2    teaspoons dry mustard
½   teaspoon ground cloves.
24 (about) whole cloves
1   can pineapple slices

Preheat oven to 350º F. Place ham on rack in large roasting pan. Bake 1½ hours.

Mix honey, mustard and ground cloves in small bowl. Remove ham from oven. Cut off any rind and all but thin layer or fat. Using long knife, score fat in 1-inch-wide diamond pattern. Press 1 whole clove into center of each diamond. Brush generously with some of honey glaze. Bake ham 15 minutes.

Using toothpicks, attach pineapple to ham. Brush pineapple all over with glaze. Bake 20 minutes longer. Brush again with glaze. Transfer ham to platter. Remove pineapple; arrange alongside ham.

Spring Vegetable Bundles

5     large carrots, peeled, cut into 5-inch-long
..............by ½ inch-wide by ¼ inch-thick strips
2      pounds green beans, trimmed
12   ..5 inch-long by ¼ inch-wide leek strips
..............(dark green part only, from 2 leeks)
1     tablespoon minced fresh thyme.

Cook carrots in large pot of boiling salted water 1 minute. Add green beans and cook until vegetable are crisp-tender, about 3 minutes longer. Drain. Rinse under cold water to cool. Drain.

Divide vegetables into 12 bundles. Gently tie each bundle with 1 leek strip to secure. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate.)

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Transfer vegetable bundles to rimmed baking sheet. Melt 6 tablespoons butter with minced thyme in heavy small saucepan over medium heat. Brush vegetable bundles with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake just until heated through, about 8 minutes and serve.
