The Egg Hunt
Easter Eggs
Tips from an Easter Pro

According to Emily Biddle, there are just a few things to keep in mind when staging an Easter egg hunt.

1. Know the exact number of eggs you'll be hiding.

2. Vary the hiding spots. Make sure some eggs are easy to find so that the younger kids have fun; place some in more concealed spots to keep the older kids interested. Be sure to tell the older kids not to pick up the more conspicuous eggs.

3. If you have pets, keep them in the house when you're hiding the eggs and during the hunt.

4. When the hunt is over, count all the eggs that have been collected. If any are unaccounted for, your pets will be sure to find them. (Don't have any pets? Track down the remaining eggs yourself -- you don't want your garden smelling like rotten eggs, do you?)
